Today my WSUS stopped working, every time i tried to install a new update it failed.
\nI googled a bit and found a few guides to get it working.<\/p>\n

I have had the best luck with Method 2.<\/p>\n

Here is what you need to do:
\nMethod 1:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Open a command prompt. (If you don\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t know how please contact a technical support person)<\/li>\n
  2. \n
    net stop wuauserv<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
  3. regsvr32 \/u wuaueng.dll<\/li>\n
  4. del C:\\WINDOWS\\SOFTWAREDISTRIBUTION<\/li>\n
  5. del C:\\WINDOWSUPDATE.log (if this tells you that it is in use just go to the next step).<\/li>\n
  6. regsvr32 wuaueng.dll<\/li>\n
  7. net start wuauserv<\/li>\n
  8. wuauclt.exe \/resetauthorization \/detectnow<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Method 2:<\/p>\n

      net stop wuauserv<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n
    3. regsvr32 %windir%\\system32\\wups2.dll<\/span><\/li>\n

      net start wuauserv<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Download the relevant version of Windows Update for your system
